Welcome to our website. My name is Cathy Paradis and I am a small breeder of Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. My husband and I are fortunate to have four cavaliers in our lives. They are house dogs, sleep on our bed and get spoiled rotten. It is very difficult not to spoil these little darlings.

Since the 16th century these little spaniels have been pets of royalty in England. They are known for their sweet smiling faces, the matching sweet personality, and their constantly wagging tail. They are an inside dog and love to be near people. They stand 12-13 inches at the shoulder and weigh 13-18 pounds, with some variation accepted. Cavaliers are called “wash and wear” spaniels because they require very little grooming. They are considered a “toy” and can be found in the Toy Group of the Canadian Kennel Club. There are 4 colors: Chestnut Red and White (called “Blenheim”), the Tri-color (Black and White with Tan points), Black and Tan, and Ruby (solid Chestnut Red). I was first drawn to the Black and Tan because they are rare and were seldom seen in the show ring yet are amazingly beautiful but also have a tri-color girl that is our little princess. Each color has its own beauty and all have the hallmark Cavalier spirit and sweetness.
